Rounding off a full year of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu seminars, I was lucky enough to attend a BJJ seminar with Marc Walder Black Belt, Mark Phillips on November 23rd.

Mark’s laid back style of teaching focused on concepts, as opposed to a technique by numbers approach; which seemed to resonate well with those attending the seminar.

During the course of the seminar, Mark took the time to break down how to maintain the guard, as well as how to pass it when the roles are reversed.

It was evident that everyone that took part in the session went away with some great new concepts to include into their game.
