Kali / Filipino Martial Arts Seminar – September 2011

Saturday 24th September 2011 saw the return of Guro Ralph Jones to Laurence Sandum‘s Black Belt Martial Arts Academy in Chelmsford, Essex, to give an outstanding seminar on Kali / Filipino Martial Arts.

Guro Ralph is one of Europe’s most highly ranked instructors under Guro Dan Inosanto in Europe and his training under him has spanned five decades.

The four hour seminar was broken down into four parts; single knife versus single knife, double knife abecedario, double stick disarms and Maphilindo Silat.

Due to Guro Ralph’s wealth of knowledge, each section contained points to note that everyone, from complete beginner to experienced martial artist, benefited from.

Thanks to Laurence Sandum for again hosting Guro Ralph, maintaining our status as the number one martial arts academy in the area.
