BAMMA 6 – May 2011

Saturday 21st May 2011 saw myself and Peter Squire travel from Chelmsford to Wembley Arena, in London, for a night of MMA action at BAMMA 6 – Kong vs Ninja.

Spike Fightwear sponsored fighter Murray Fullarton fought on the card and, as per his usual M.O., submitted his opponent within the first round, via armbar, leaving him 3-0 in his professional career.

Some other stand out fights on the card included Shane Omer’s stunning 1st round knockout of Aaron ‘Daywalker’ Wilkinson and of course the main event, where Tom ‘Kong’ Watson retained his BAMMA middleweight title, by TKO’ing Murilo ‘Ninja’ Rua with superior Muay Thai in the 3rd round.

With yet another professional fight at the beginning of July at UWC 16, in Southend-on-Sea, Murray Fullarton continues to deserve the title of one of the busiest fighters in MMA; ‘Bon Courage’ Murray!
