Saturday 21^st July 2012 saw me attend a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu seminar at Laurence Sandum‘s Black Belt Martial Arts Academy in Chelmsford Essex with BJJ Brown Belt Dave Birkett.

The majority of the seminar was spent focusing on Gracie Jiu Jitsu (GJJ) as a form of self-defence, paying particular attention to the use of correct leverage so it can be applied by anyone.

Thanks to Dave for travelling to Chelmsford to give the session; everyone that attended said that they really enjoyed the session and got a lot from it.

As ever, thanks to Guro Laurence Sandum for organising the session and continuing to host top flight martial artists so close to home.
